After a long hiatus, I've decided to dig back into the family roots. It's been a good five years since the old "glory days" of NFB (remember --newsletter, website, family intranet, etc.?) But since I don't have the time I used to have to spend on researching and communicating this blog will have to serve as my present way to share genealogical findings.
I'll also be posting pictures and may also republish pieces from the old family newsletter, and any other items that seem noteworthy. As always, your comments are most welcome.

Thank God someone in our family does all this work! Thank you so much. This is Heather Chamberlain, daughter of Walt Weislek, grandaughter of Velza Banegas. Funny story about my last name: all my life I wanted my last name to be "Chamberlain" even knew how I wanted to spell it. My dad never minded because I would change my name once I was married anyway. So, at 18 years old, I changed my last name. Then ten years later I come across our family pages and see that Eva Chamberlain married into our family long ago. Cool coincidence! :) Thank you again!
